We, at Bolt IoT, wish to sincerely appreciate the efforts put in by you for making online learning possible. The difficulties you go through daily, to make it possible are tremendous. Your solutions inspire students to learn effectively even in this pandemic!

Premier educational institutions across the country have started online internships to make their students industry ready. Traditionally, we have conducted internships and ensured that they lead to full time job offers as well.

You must be aware that we have written to you some time back regarding the student partner internship program. We hope to continue our relationship with your college in the coming days as well.

Internships in the area of Voice Assistant Apps

In recent times, Voice Assistants (Alexa and Ok Google!) are in demand. While we normalize living in a pandemic, the number of people using voice assistants is growing exponentially as touch has now become a taboo. Recent research says there will be 8 billion digital voice assistants in use by 2023. Hence, it is no surprise that the corporate world has already begun offering jobs and hiring students who are well equipped with this technology.

Since we provide online training to students, we have had various organisations across India, inquire about students trained in building applications for Voice Assistants. Some of these organisations looking to hire during the next internship season are Numadic (An IoT and ML logistics monitoring & fleet tracking platform), Robosoft Systems (Robotics hardware and software development company), Qubiseed Technologies (A developers of healthcare mobile app) etc. All these companies are hiring for work from home technical internships with a minimum monthly stipend of Rs.6,000/-. You can get more details here: https://info.boltiot.com/internshipopportunities.

Keeping this in mind, we have launched a program to train students on building apps for Voice Assistants like Alexa and Ok Google! and then connect them with the various organisations to get internships with a stipend.

We request you to forward the details of this opportunity to your students.

What are the steps to apply for the internships?

Step 1: Students will have to answer a scholarship test to qualify for participating in the Internship program. The selected students will be eligible to join the Bolt IoT’s voice assistant app training at an 80% discount. We charge a small fee to cover for our costs and to ensure that only interested students join the program. To answer the scholarship, students have to visit https://info.boltiot.com/voiceappsscholarship.

Step 2: Our team of developers will train the students on the concepts of building Voice Assistant Apps via online video training.

Step 3: Upon completion of the training, the students will be issued a certificate which can be submitted in the college as per the AICTE rules.

Step 4: Students will then be invited to apply for an internship at various organisations who are looking to hire. These companies will hire based on performance during the training, resume submitted and interview round.

Other critical points:

  • The option of full refund: In case the students are not happy with the training offered to them, then they can get a full refund as per the refund policy. This ensures that there is no risk for students or the faculty involved in the process.
  • Lifetime access: Students can register now and start the training after the exams or at any other time.

How to avail the scholarship and apply for the internship program?

  • To avail the scholarship, the students have to answer a scholarship test and qualify for the same by scoring at-least 70% marks.
  • This is a short test and will not take more than 10 minutes of the students. This ensures that they can answer it without spending much time if they have exams ongoing.
